Cambridge Jazz Festival - NewGenJazz

NewGenJazz is an all day event featuring some of the most talented and boundary pushing young musicians in the UK Jazz scene – a new generation to inspire the next generation - 11 bands will be performing back-to-back across two different stages at the Cambridge Corn Exchange.

Headlining is MOBO award winning sax and drum duo, Binker & Moses with special guests Tori Handsley (harp) & Elliot Galvin (piano). Other formidable artists include Fender Rhodes sound inspired jazz funk band Resolution 88, vocal led hip hop, trip hop, electronica, jazz, R&B Native Dancer, an all female 7-piece hip hop and Afrobeat band, Nerija, funk organ trio Three Step Manouevre featuring the very talented young London based Australian soul singer Georgia Van Etten, one of the UK’s most talked about jazz, pop and progressive rock bands, Flying Machines and we draw the Festival to a riotous close with the hugely entertaining and infectiously energetic nine-piece The Brass Funkeys.
