"We are sorry to advise that the Chico & The Gypsies UK tour will no longer take place in October 2015. The phenomenal response to the bands album Fiesta and the release of Chico & The Gypsies & International Friends has resulted in their international promotional commitments having to be extended. The band are disappointed not to be performing in the UK this year, more so after the fantastic audience response to their sold-out show in London, however they will return in 2016 to perform for their UK fans." - 09/09/15

*All customers will be contacted in due course. If you have tickets they will remain valid for the rescheduled date in 2016. If you would prefer a refund please return your tickets to the point of sale. *

CHICO AND THE GYPSIES, legends in their native France and multi-platinum recording artists around the world, have announced they are to tour the UK in October 2015, following the success of the band’s sold-out show at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane in November 2014.

Chico Bouchikhi – co-founder of The Gipsy Kings and co-writer of their biggest hits (Djobi Djoba, Bamboléo and Soy) – and his band will be touring to support the release of their new album; FIESTA has already sold 100,000 copies in France where the single, a joyful revival of El Porompompero, the signature song of Spanish singer Manolo Escobar, topped the airplay charts.
Chico has built up a phenomenal worldwide audience of millions of music fans from his native France to Japan via Dubaï; the band’s infectious brand of rumba, flamenco and Latin pop and rock tunes is joyful, flamboyant and hugely entertaining.
The architect of the Gipsy Kings’ success, Chico saw them become the first French group to be awarded a platinum disc in the US and go on to sell an estimated 20 million albums, making them the biggest world music crossover act.
Led by Chico, the line-up comprises Mounin, Joseph, Kema - Manitas de Plata’s grandson - Babato, Tané, Kassaka and Rey - a nephew of Manitas de Plata.
