To celebrate the release of his No.1 debut album ‘Chaos And The Calm’, rising star James Bay announces the ‘Chaos And The Calm Tour’ in September/October 2015. With the sell-out success of his upcoming April tour, this autumn 2015 outing will see James perform across 12 cities including a show at London’s iconic Brixton Academy.
Recently released, ‘Chaos and The Calm’ has won plaudits for its catchy songs full of confessional lyrics and infectious melodies. The album's narrative details escapism, self-discovery, and the emotional adjustments required to keep up with James's fast-changing circumstances over the last few years. Bay’s musical spectrum spans spine-tingling acoustic balladry to rousing choruses with raging guitar, exploring the musical styles he so cherishes.
Over the next few months the BRITs Critics’ Choice winner will embark on a sold out April UK tour playing two shows at Shepherd’s Bush Empire followed by a sold out U.S tour. He will then return to the UK to play prolific slots at many of this year’s festivals including Isle of Wight, T in the Park, V festival as well as a show at the Somerset House Series which sold out in record time.
