The most natural players are the ones who try to entertain us… and this evening session will include some of the most playful creators around.

Nick Hornby is the author of Fever Pitch, About A Boy, High Fidelity, and How To Be Good. He’s going to talk to us about the way that play and creativity drives his literary imagination.

Stuart Nolan is a conceptual magician, who has devised a unique show for e-Luminate around the way our minds can be tricked by lightness and darkness. Be prepared to be amazed, but also educated, about the way your brain sees the world.

Robin Ince is a comedian, who often works with physicist Brian Cox on live and radio shows. Tonight he will explore the famous old “Light Bulb Joke” (as in, “how many X’s does it take…”). What does it tell us about how humour works, and how science works with humour?

Greig Stewart, the artist behind Britain’s Got Talent Laser Harp show, lands in Cambridge to perform his famous laser gig! Not to be missed!
