'superb musical solos by the orchestra and robust classical ballet performances by a polished troupe of accomplished dancers' - The Bath Chronicle

On the back of a hugely successful premiere tour earlier this year, Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet makes its return to the Corn Exhcnage.

This exciting, youthful and talented company will showcase a spectacular new version of The Nutcracker, with stunning baroque designs, along with the beautiful classic Swan Lake.

Swan Lake is Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece, a tragic tale of love and betrayal with an instantly recognisable score.  This is the epic story of Prince Siegfried and his love for Odette who, tricked by the evil sorcerer Von Rothbart and his daughter Odile, would rather die together then live apart.

Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet under the direction of Marina Medvetskaya boasts impressive technique, exquisite artistry and bold production of these best-loved Russian ballets. Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet’s performances have an air of magic, complemented by a full orchestra and outstanding soloists who will take your breath away!

'Saint Petersburg Classic Ballet is the real Russian deal. Natalya Romanova is entrancing...her dancing appears effortless and her poise is perfect.'  - Sheffield Star
