Show of Hands return with ‘Walk with Me - The Big Autumn Tour’ with special guest Megan Henwood. Featuring songs from 25 years at the top and reunited with the exceptionally talented Miranda Sykes once more, big sounds, uncompromising songs and stunning production make for a evening to remember. This will be the last chance to see them together before their 2017 Albert Hall concert.
Show of Hands are undeniably one of the strongest current forces in acoustic music – England’s finest and most popular roots partnership and something of a “people’s band”, regularly voicing the hopes, fears and life stories of scores of people in song. Joined by Miranda Sykes on double bass they are widely recognised for their resonating original songs, stunning musicianship and remarkable audience rapport.
Their latest album ‘Long Way Home’ has received rave reviews across the board, and has been nominated in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards ‘Best Album’ category, whilst their 2015 Autumn Tour has been hailed as the best yet. This year has already seen regular airplay on BBC Radio 2 for Show of Hands, by Mark Radcliffe, Steve Wright and Janice Long.
