Highly Commended for our 2017 Festival!

Wednesday 14 March 2018

Cambridge Folk Festival is thrilled to receievd a 'Highly Commended' at the Greener Festival Awards run by A Greener Festival for our work on becoming more environmentally friendly!

The awards ceremony took place on 6 March in London and our award was collect by Liz Warwick, who is the Festival's Green Co-ordinator.

The Greener Festival Awards, a scheme led by A Greener Festival, has operated since 2007, and in that time has assessed over 400 festivals worldwide and assisted them with resource efficiency, decreasing their waste and carbon emissions, and ameliorating the impact that events and festivals have on the environment.

Our Thanks goes to our dedicated workers and volunteers who helped to make this achievement possible.
