A performance telling the stories of inspirational women who lived during the First World War. This one-woman show weaves a recorded soundscape around live, original songs and storytelling. Hear from the woman who dressed as a soldier, the football players banned by the FA, ambulance drivers running the gauntlet of enemy fire and the so-called ‘surplus million’.
Louise Jordan, critically acclaimed musician and singer, brings to life these extraordinary women who challenged expectations using letters, research and diaries.
