Wine Gums 2 Comedy Night

This month we have the incredibly talented Mae Martin headlining. She is a British-Canadian comedian who won a Canadian Screen Award for her writing on Canada’s CBC hit all-female comedy series Baroness Von Sketch Show. Mae debuted her new stand-up show DOPE at the 2017 Melbourne and Sydney comedy festivals.

Mae’s Radio 4 series ...Mae Martin’s guide to 21st Century Sexuality was nominated for a BBC audio Drama Award and has been re- commissioned for a second series.

Her 2015 Edinburgh show gained glowing national press coverage in The Guardian, The Times, Glamour Magasine and The Mirror.

She’s been performing comedy since she was 13.

Opening we have Joe Bor. Joe is an award winning observational comedian. He has been Jewish comedian of the year, old comedian of the year and finalist for English Comedian of the year. Joe is a regular performer at the county’s top comedy clubs. He has worked on many of the top comedy shows including Mock The Week, The Graham Norton Show, Live at the palladium and Have I got news for you.

In the middle section we have Esther Manito and Don Biswas

Don talks about a wide variety of unique subjects ie about his dyspraxia and mild Asperger’s syndrome. Also thrown in is politics which he takes an alternative view on.

Esther Manito is an exciting British-Lebanese comedian. She has reached the finals of many major competitions
