Britten Sinfonia continues its close relationship with Scottish composer James MacMillan with an Easter performance of his St Luke Passion which takes as its starting point the passage in the Gospel of Luke describing the suffering and death of Jesus. MacMillan’s musical language is flooded with influences from his Scottish heritage, Catholic faith, social conscience and close connection with Celtic folk music.

PLEASE NOTE: This event will take place at KING'S COLLEGE CHAPEL. Any tickets left for collection will be available to collect from the Cambridge Live Box Office in advance, or from Kings College Chapel directly on the day of the event
