Prepare to be challenged. Inspired by their exhibition Another India: Explorations and Expressions of Indigenous South Asia, the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology explores stories of struggles and resistance from South Asia's Adivasi (Indigenous) communities. Join us for an evening of experimental film and music, critical stories and hands-on encounters with the crafts of Indian artists. Take in the displays after dark, debate their stories over a drink and challenge the stories that museums tell.

Explore the exhibition after hours
Another India: Explorations & Expressions of Indigenous South Asia is a unique exhibition exploring the heritage of India’s Indigenous Adivasi (Indigenous) communities. Featuring artefacts from MAA's historic collections alongside 23 new artworks by Adivasi artists across India.

Soundtrack
Word Sound Power is a New Delhi based collective that works to create multimedia projects and new music with South Asian artists on issues of social justice; led by electronic music producer Chris McGuinness and dancehall artist Delhi Sultanate. Listen to their songs and remixes playing throughout the evening.

Blood Earth Film Screening
Screening during the evening, Blood Earth is made by Kush Badhwar and documents Chris McGuinness and Delhi Sultanate’s journey across South Asia creating their sounds and songs of resistance.
