From inspiring the term “mansplaining” in her pivotal essay Men Explain Things to Me (2014) to writing over twenty books about art, feminism, hope and politics whilst contributing regularly to the Guardian and LRB,  Solnit has secured her spot as one of today’s leading global thinkers. She joins us in conversation with Festival Patron Robert Macfarlane to discuss her latest work, The Mother of All Questions (Granta), which is a breath taking call-to-action and a meditation on what feminism means today, and a hopeful vision that offers ways to include everyone in the discussion.
