Armonico Consort: Come and Sing Spem in Alium
Thursday 12 July 2018, 6.30pm
St Paul’s Church, Hills Road

Come and sing Tallis’s magnificent  ‘Spem in alium’ with Armonico Consort directed by Christopher Monks. This 45-minute open rehearsal precedes the concert by Armonico at 8pm the same evening, in the nearby Our Lady and the English Martyrs Catholic Church, when ‘Spem in Alium’ will be performed together with ‘Mass for 60 voices’ by Allessandro Striggio.

A not-to-be-missed opportunity to experience singing Tallis’ magnificent motet for 40 separate voices with this critically-acclaimed choir! Advance booking essential – copies of the music will be emailed out in advance.
