The Cambridge Taverner Choir returns to Cambridge to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a concert of some of the most glorious music of the Renaissance from England, Spain, Portugal and Italy.

The Cambridge Taverner Choir was one of the first provincial choirs in the UK to perform a regular season of concerts of Renaissance choral music, each concert exploring a composer, country, theme or liturgy of the time. It performed several times a year in Cambridge for 25 years until 2011 and released several highly acclaimed CDs, including Music from Renaissance Portugal, which was shortlisted for the Gramophone Early Music Award. Since 2011, it has performed once a year in various venues around the UK.
