Enchanted Cinema are back. With 2 years of sell out events already under their belts, this summer they’re popping up in the iconic Cambridge location, The Orchard Tea Gardens Grantchester.
With live music from local musicians before the film, deckchairs under the trees of The Orchards draped in lights, street food, an independent pop-up bar, vintage popcorn machines and blankets… their events are all set to be as magical as ever.
There will be street food available from local vendor Guerilla Kitchen. They will be serving their delicious steamed bao. We will also have our independent bar running all night serving drinks, freshly-popped popcorn and brownies. We have food and drinks covered so please leave your picnics at home. Local musician Ed Stubbs will be performing an acoustic set from 8PM.
We are also very excited to be screening an independent short before The Godfather. We’re showing ‘Hairatage’ directed by Aisha Sanyang-Mee. Through this powerful and thought-provoking short the Bristol-based poet, journalist and filmmaker explores the social, political and personal aspects surrounding black hair through the medium of spoken word. We really hope that you will enjoy as much as we have.
