Enchanted Cinema is back for its 4th year of inner city cinematic magic. These guys are all about creating an original and vibrant cinema scene that offers an exciting way to watch a great film. Expect to be wowed by a short film before each screening, magical light installations and live music from local artists. Velvet curtains will be pulled back at the time of the allocated screening, and the arena will open to Enchanted Cinema ticket holders. These events are set to be the most magical of the summer.

Nestled just on the outskirts of Cambridge on Trumpington Road, Anstey Hall is a former country house built in the 17th century. This Grade 1 listed mansion offers the perfect location for our evenings of Enchanted cinema, with what could be arguably the most beautiful setting and surroundings.

We'll have food vendors serving up delicious produce (each will be announced leading up to the event) and Anstey hall itself will be serving up a wide range of drinks.

Seating is not allocated so be sure to arrive in advance to choose your deckchair. We are a rain or shine event so if the Great British weather surprises us and the skies open, we will have waterproof ponchos available and the show will go on!

Sit back in a deckchair, fresh popcorn and a drink in hand, and experience cinema as you never have before this summer…

Testimonials

“Definitely an enchanting evening. As the sun sets the lovely lighting around the seating brightens and some local Cambridge acoustic sets a beautiful evening up for a joyous night. Drink in one hand and some popcorn on my lap, reclined in a deckchair… my sort of movie night.” - Samuel Benjamin Harris, Artist

Every detail is thought of, the magical lights to the homemade brownies! Love the emphasis on everything being so ‘Cambridge’, the local street food, local musicians. Everything was so fabulous, can’t wait to bring my friends again this summer.” - Londiwe Ncube, Stylist

“Each event they did here in the garden of The Gonville Hotel last summer was fully booked and that has to be put down to the unique experience they create for each show.” - Christopher Ogston, Manager of The Gonville Hotel

“With a great selection of features, passionate support of local creatives and an abundance of popcorn, this team of friendly film lovers guarantee their audience a unique experience: enjoying the stars on and above the silver screen as the summer sun sets. To simply say it’s enchanting is a cop-out, but a genuine one nonetheless.” - Jonathan Howard, JHFilm
