This event is an autism friendly screening. This means that this screening will have subtle changes to the cinema environment which mean that people who have sensory difficulties have a more positive experience than they would in a traditional cinema setting. Changes include:

- The lights being kept on at a low level

- Lower than usual sound levels

- No trailers or advertisements

- just the film

- Allowance for increased levels of movement and noise

- Seating will not be allocated

A young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express. During his adventure he learns about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.

A Christmas pop-up cafe will be running all day next door to the theatre. So you can enjoy cosy hot drinks, homemade cakes and brownies before and after the film + mulled wine & mince pies and a few more festive foodie surprises.

Enchanted Cinema presents: A Christmas Film Festival is a fundraising project in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. EACH provides care and support for children and young people with life-threatening illnesses as well as end of life care for dying children and their families.
