The name’s Bond. James Bond…
Tickets are not on sale for this event yet.
Join Daniel Craig and see Spectre on the stunning 30ft screen- courtesy of Star and Mouse Picture Show- in the beautiful, quintessentially English, surroundings of Madingley Hall.
Channel your inner Bond/Bond Girl, and if you dress up (black tie!) you will receive a martini from us on arrival. With BBQ available to purchase from 7.00pm and a free talk on “Spies, Damn Spies and Cambridge” given by our International Relations course director Ian Shields at 8.30pm, there is hardly time to pose for pictures.
If you would like to practise your Bond poses ahead of the film, please share them with us at #ICESummerFest. The best on the night will win an afternoon tea and a night’s stay for two at Madingley Hall, to be arranged at your convenience.
Picnics are also welcome.
The film begins when darkness descends- probably around 9.30pm. Although we are hoping for a balmy night, please ensure that you bring blankets and warm clothing as required. Seats are not provided, so please do bring small chairs if that is your preference. As the old Hollywood maxim states- ‘the show must go on’ so please bring an umbrella in case of less lucky weather.
There will be a workshop, with Ian Shields, a retired Senior Air Force officer, beforehand at 18:30. Tickets can be booked here: https://www.cambridgelivetrust.co.uk/tickets/events/ice-summer-festival-presents-secret-agents-guide-international-relations
