Irenosen Okojie, author of Butterfly Fish and Speak Gigantular, will lead this inspiring workshop at the Institute of Continuing Education (ICE), home to the University of Cambridge Centre for Creative Writing.

Irenosen has been described as “a liberatingly odd, seductive and fearless talent” (Laine Paull).  Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Observer, The Guardian, the BBC and the Huffington Post. She is a freelance Arts Project Manager and Coordinator and has worked as a freelance writer, Marketing Assistant and Editorial Assistant.

Other events on the day include talks, workshops, and a panel discussion. Book two workshops and save £5 (you must be logged into your account for the discount to apply) making the full day a maximum of £30. If you are still eager for more why not treat yourself to a three-course meal and listen to Cynan Jones- winner of last year’s BBC National Short Story Awards - for £35?

If this day-long festival merely whets your appetite, why not try our Creative Writing Retreat which follows on from the event from 8-13 July.
