Sanjukta Mitra’s musical journey in North Indian classical music began at a very young age of 8 years under the guidance of Mrs Seema Ghosh, in Kolkata.

She completed her graduation in Sangeet Prabhavar, from Allahabad at the age of 16, with a distinction and started training under the eminent Guru, Pt. Santanu Bandyopadhyay of Vishnupur Gharana.
 
The presentation of Anandadhara Arts will navigate through melodious journey of choral music from the five greatest composers of Bengal from the 19th to early 20th century – such as Tagore, Nazrul, Atul Prasad, DL Roy and Rajani Kanta. The programme will feature raga based tarana, vibrant, music for the soul. The chorus will include both children and adults.
