The Library Presents: Dastaan Folk and Film

The first half of the performance features heart pounding live music from around the world, including Rajasthani folk, Welsh folk, Indian ballads and jazz. In the second half, a silent film of emotionally charged dance with traditional Persian calligraphy is accompanied by beautiful live music from tabla, percussion, saxophone, khartal, setar, harp, baja and choral vocals.
