Continuing with our Venetian theme, the 2017 Cambridge Early Music Renaissance course will explore the intimacy and intensity of the Venetian madrigals of Adriaan Willaert and Cypriano de Rore, as well as following in the the footsteps of Venetian masters from Sylvestro Ganassi to Giovanni Bassano. Join us in Girton College Great Hall as the students of the 2017 Renaissance course showcase some of the works explored during the week.

The main entrance to Girton College (leading to the Porter's Lodge) is directly off Huntington Road. However, those coming by car should enter through the Girton Road entrance, where parking is available. The main building can then be accessed through the Old Kitchens Door. Signs will be displayed at both the Porter's Lodge entrance and the Old Kitchens entrance leading to the Great Hall.

Cambridge Early Music is a registered Charity whose core activites involve running two early music summer schools each year, putting on an annual concert series is Cambridge, and carrying out other educational work with young people.
