Enjoy an evening of jaw-dropping trickery and sleight-of-hand inspired by the Whipple Museum’s collection of historic scientific instruments and models. Magicians from Cambridge’s very own Hogwarts, the Academy of Magic and Science, will reveal how Science and Magic are linked in helping us understand the world around us.

With the help of astonishing tricks and interactive performances, find out some of the scientific principles behind illusion, perception and bias. Just don’t expect the magicians to reveal all their secrets…

Plus…

Get hands-on and meet the University of Cambridge Museums’ Digital Maker in Residence, with an activity inspired by medieval magical remedies, practices and sorcery.

A cash bar from Cambridge Wine Merchants.

Explore the Museum’s historic galleries – with its collection of marvellous scientific objects dating back to the Middle Ages - after hours.
