The endlessly loveable Icelandic Eurovision breakout star Daði Freyr announces ‘PART 2’ of his headline European 2023 tour. As well as making his live debut in Spain, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, Austria and Slovenia during ‘PART 1’, this run of dates will see him visit nine locations in the UK alongside other European cities, including Berlin, Amsterdam, Dublin and Paris. Tickets are on sale Friday 12th May.
This exciting touring news comes alongside the announcement of the physical release of his album ‘I Made An Album’ (vinyl & CD) due October 20th, following the digital release on August 25th.
Daði Freyr is also planning a string of very exciting performances and activations in the warm up to this year’s Eurovision 2023 final, where he will be performing a very special cover of a classic from a loved Liverpudlian band.
On 10 May, Daði is playing a one-off standalone show at Jimmy’s that sold out in minutes. He’ll be performing iconic covers of Eurovision songs in the style of his beloved JúróDaði series on Youtube. The night will also be live streamed on TikTok.
On 11 May, you can join Daði Freyr for free ice cream and fun chats at the Ice Land ice cream van activation from 12-3pm, located just outside the Eurovision Fan Village. You may even catch him doing a stripped back acoustic performance.
As for the eagerly anticipated Eurovision final on 13 May, Daði Freyr will be there to right the wrong of last year’s Eurovision final when he was unable to perform live, by taking to the stage for a special live performance to finally claim his Eurovision final moment. Although the crown will never be on his head, he will remain long in the hearts of the show's millions of fans.
Later this year, Daði Freyr will release ‘I Made An Album’, which comes two years after he won the world's hearts at Eurovision 2021. Part 2 of the album ‘I’m Still Making An Album ⅔’ will be released at the end of May. Listen to ‘I’m Making An Album ⅓’ here.
