On being chosen to be the 2017/18 Classical Concert Series Artist in Residence Esther said:

“I am very excited and honoured to be the Artist in Residence at Cambridge Corn Exchange. I have great memories from performing there last year with the Philharmonia Orchestra and Maestro Ashkenazy. The audience was very warm and I also enjoyed the opportunity to premiere a wonderful contemporary work, ‘laulan’ by Jay Richardson, alongside some very talented young musicians in collaboration with the Cambridgeshire Music Service. I look forward to returning for more projects and to connect with the Cambridge audiences again!”
