The dancing takes place in St Giles’ Church, Castle Street –  an affordable Grade II* listed venue for those of all faiths and none, boasting one of the most stunning church interiors in the East of England.
 

About the Church

St Giles’ features works by Sir Charles Kempe and Sir Ninian Comper, two of the most significant designers of their time. It includes noted copies of works by Michelangelo and Veronese. The building has features dating from 1092.
 

About the Venue

Today it is used by Anglican and Romanian Orthodox parishes for worship, alongside being a venue for community activities and concerts. It is also used as a dormitory for the Cambridge Churches Homeless Project.
 

About the Friends

The Friends of St Giles’ Church preserve and enhance the building and grounds and promote it as a centre for the whole community. Membership is drawn from the locals, heritage enthusiasts and art specialists. It has no religious affiliation.
