As a part of our exciting autumn/winter programme of events, the museum will be hosting a series of Christmas workshops - for those who are eagerly awaiting festivities and enjoy making handcrafted decorations - in the run-up to the holidays!
Local artists and artisans have been invited to lead these creative sessions in the Museum’s Enid Porter Room.
In our second pair of Christmas workshops basket maker Nadine Anderson will teach traditional basketry techniques using locally sourced materials to make willow and rush stars, hearts and other rustic decorations to grace your home and Christmas table.
