As well as discussing the RAF’s ‘finest hour’ during the Second World War, this event looks at the intenselylived human dramas, romances and friendships that helped form the force behind the combat. Bishop will be in conversation with
festival patron Clare Mulley, author of The Women Who Flew for Hitler.
