Welcome to the 2017/18 Series
 
Highlights include the return of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra who last performed at Cambridge Corn Exchange back in 2010; an outstanding concert by the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by its charismatic Principal Conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen; three concerts by the Corn Exchange’s resident orchestra the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; visits by a range of exciting, international world-class European orchestras; Cambridge University undergraduate music student Jay Richardson named as composer in residence for the second consecutive year; and the announcement of BBC New Generation Artist Esther Yoo (violin) as Artist in Residence.
